With major nuclear power bases in Ningde, Fuqing and Zhangzhou, nuclear energy has become a key pillar of Fujian's power supply. The expansion of nuclear power is being driven in part by rapidly growing electricity demand in the age of artificial intelligence. In the United States, major technology companies are also turning to nuclear energy to secure reliable, low-carbon electricity. Microsoft has signed a 20-year agreement linked to the restart of the Three Mile Island nuclear plant, while Google has announced plans to procure power from small modular reactors. As AI development drives electricity demand higher, the convergence of artificial intelligence and nuclear power is beginning to reshape the global energy landscape. C | 新动能加快培育壮大。1至7月份，全省规模以上工业战略性新兴产业增加值增长11.1%，快于规模以上工业增速5.6个百分点。其中，光电子器件制造增加值增长3.4倍，集成电路制造增长40.2%，高铁车组制造增长23.4%，风能原动设备制造增长13.2%。高新技术产业增加值同比增长7.5%，快于规上工业增速2.0个百分点。光电子器件、集成电路、锂离子电池等新产品产量快速增长，分别增长79.7%、57.4%和87.0%。
